The Old Rectory B&B, near Southwold, is a Grade 2 listed property and not ideally suited to guests with limited mobility. We have three guest bedrooms on the first floor with the dining room on the ground floor.
The house is reached via a long shingle drive and the entrance is flagstone with a step up into the entrance hall. The dining room is on this level and also the beautiful Georgian staircase with a run of 13 steps to a landing with a turn and a further 5 steps to the landing.
Guests are very welcome to enjoy the award winning gardens, summerhouse and seating areas but the lawns and paths may be uneven. We have slopes, steps and a pond, which add to the appeal of the garden but may cause problems for some guests.
